Careers

Nemean is looking to expand its core team. If you are a creative thinker, a self-motivated problem solver and a passionate coder, take a look at our current openings.

The basics

We’re a small, privately funded start-up with offices on Madison, Wisconsin’s west side. We write code in a Linux/Mac/open source environment, building a high-performance, Linux-based security appliance using Ruby and C++.

Why Nemean?

At Nemean Networks, we strive to write great software that will delight our customers and revolutionize their network security operations. If you would like to do the same, we would like to meet you! Apply today by sending a résumé and cover letter to jobs@nemeannetworks.com.

Additionally, …

  • We have an unusual affinity for pine.
  • We have enormous monitors.
  • We know the difference between an em dash, an en dash and a hyphen.
  • We get into heated discussions about how much ASCII art is too much ASCII art.
  • Some of us use vim, some use emacs and still others use TextMate.
  • We have an unwieldy coffee machine and a (usually) stocked mini-fridge. Low-sodium V8? Yes, please.
  • We bowl a sub-100 average — but not for long.
